seconding the rec to visit the food stylist's blog (http://janicepoonart.blogspot.com/) to get an idea about the artistry of the food on the show. Also maybe it's your tv/monitor? Because while the colors of the show in general do tend to be washed out, clearly for stylistic purposes, the food still looks gorgeous on my screen.

Not OP. I just went through that entire blog, and except for the jello and roses desert, there wasn't a single dish that didn't make me think "ew". I'm not a fan of the show. I know the premise but haven't seen a single episode. The IC human bodies stuff doesn't bother me in the slightest when I look at those pictures. So, judging by just the food pictured? Yuck. Nothing whatsoever I would want to eat.

I mean, I guess for me the main problem isn't styling so much as most of what's on offer isn't the kind of food I tend to enjoy much (even assuming the meat isn't IC human), but none of that looks good for me.
