I agree. Never seen the appeal of a holiday where you just sit in the sun with a cold drink, reading a book. If I wanted to do that, I'll do it in my own back garden (on the ten days of the year it's sunny here). The back garden doesn't have sand, salt water or other people within thirty feet, and that makes it perfect.

I'm going to Paris next week! Because it's got museums and sights and food and I get to practice my Officer Crabtree-ish French and it's totally different to my back garden!
