Heh, just for the sake of clarity, I do know that (even made references to that, along with a few artists starting out at Disney when ranting about fanbrats), and love Disney's classics (Mulan = <3). I just don't like to see a type of animation (any type, be it Japanese, Koren, American, Brazilian or Martian) being put down, especially when using something directly inspired by the type being put down is being used as a token of superiority.

Oh I totally get that. I hate it when people put down animation as bad, because I know that a lot of work goes into it, and that someone, somewhere really loves it.
And yeah, bashing anime while praising Avatar is kind of silly. Which is why I use something non-anime inspired when I'm trying to convince people that not all American cartoons suck.
