Holy shit do I ever know what you mean!
Clari's not my favorite character, but VoH is so ridiculously underappreciated that it makes me want to cry. I try to get my friends to read it, but they're all like "Meh." and I want to be like "You have no idea what you're missing out on!!!! VoH beats the hell out of any mainstream big-name series!"
I'm glad the commercial translators won't ever pick it up though. I'll take the tiny and underappreciated fandom over "huge and idiotic" any day.

:D It certainly is! Someone else made the icon (and a few others) and posted them on a Hameln comm a few months ago, and it was just too good to pass up.

Hameln needs so much more love than it gets, but it's always awesome to find more fans.

I'm fairly certain they were posted in that community sometime within the last two or three months, which means they should be easy to find. It's not a terribly active community, unfortunately.
If they're not in there, that means it was a post in one of the huge anime icon communities I'm part of and I have no idea which one it would've been.
I usually save most of the Hameln icons I see, so if you can't find them I can send them to you if you want me to.

:D I've been rabid into Hameln since middle school, and now I'm a college junior. It's just that awesome. I've been dying to cosplay from it, and assuming I get some of the more complicated things figured out, I'm planning on finally doing it at AWA next September.

Dude, I've never seen VoH (though I'm intrigued and must check it out now), but the first thing I thought of when I glanced at your icon was, "Holy crap! That's an evil-looking Oscar!"

Also, Oscar is female, from Rose of Versailles. She was raised as a man though, which is the reason for the name.

You're welcome! I'm always happy to pass on the awesomeness of Hameln.
I think the first 14 volumes are all in one Torrent file together, so you might have to download the Bittorrent program to get them. That's what I had to do, and it was so worth it.

Ooh Rose of Versailles! That's a series I've always meant to check out, but never got around to finding.
