OP of 7 here.

Maybe I worded it wrong and I'm not going to even go into the Kinsey Scale, but what I'm saying is WHY is is such a crime to think a character could be bi? Real sexuality is far too fluid to pigeonhole, and people bitching about "they have to be straight or gay, no exceptions" only makes me feel more marginalized than I already do.

Maybe people should be allowed to choose their own identities. I do get frustrated with the "everyone is bisexual, lawl Kinsey scale!" argument because it's overlooking how condescending that is. It's as condescending as pushing straight or gay, frankly.

It's not a crime to think a character could be bisexual, but it's also not a crime to think of (and characterize) characters as straight or as gay.

And you really aren't all that marginalized, sorry to break it to you.

Not marginalized? Gee, being told for the last 10 years by so-called open-minded liberal queers that either a) I'm going through a phase or b) it's people like me that are ruining the gay community really doesn't count for anything, huh? Thanks for clearing that up!
