Things you think have potential for video game adaptations.

So, FS what book, movie, TV show, comic, anime, whatever I've forgotten do you think has real potential as a video game?

My #1 would be Gunnerkrigg Court. A huge world to explore even just inside the court, interesting characters with a wide variety of of abilities. I think it could have an awesome video game adaptation.

I'd like to see a video game of Last Exile spanning the entire series(because it's my fandom obsession duh.), but I'm really not sure how that would work out. Strategy game, flight game, creepy dating sim? Still if they made one I'd buy it.

I think Warren Ellis' series "Global Frequency" might make for an interesting game. Other than the woman who runs the GF, as well as a few characters from across the series who return for the final issue, no two issues share the same cast. Each character has a given skill, everything from medical knowledge to combat training. It might make for an interesting hybrid of shooter and strategy -- who do you pick for the needed backup knowledge? Who do you send in to deal with a situation with force that can make it on time?

A Gunnerkrigg Court game would be awesome :)

A Girl Genius videogame would probably make me explode with happiness, as would a Discworld game (especially if they were open-world RPGs).

The Parasol Protectorate.

Mostly a visual novel/solving mysteries/trying to figure out which of your friends can actually be trusted but then there are rpg portions where you go around hitting people with a parasol. And you can play as Ivy too and fight people with ugly hats.

There could be a spinoff dating sim with Captain Featherstonehaugh.

I would play the hell out of a Gunnerkrigg Court game.
