I tend to go more for altos or contraltos myself. Monique Ortiz comes to mind. I also get the shivers for a more performely voice. I can't stand Lady Gaga on recordings where she's post-processed to hell and back. But have her ad lib on a piano while flirting with the host(ess), or have her ham it up with Bennett and a producer who doesn't pound the vocal dynamics into tinfoil, and she's not bad. (Monae's better, but doesn't ring my bell.)

Men? I'll break my Bioware hate if they do the right thing and make Varric (Brian Bloom) romanceable. Beyond that, it's a matter of, "I know it when I hear it." Neil Tennant, for example, is way out of my typical range but hits it.
