AYRT.

Definitely had Disney Channel when it was airing, so that wouldn't be the issue. Wiki says it was syndicated, so it was probably on Fox.

I watched Aladdin, BTAS, Xmen, and Animaniacs around 1994. I didn't typically watch shows unless the boys in my class were raving about it. Maybe Gargoyles just wasn't very popular in my school?

Eh, who knows.

I think mostly, I just balk at the idea of "Well, I never heard of it, so it probably wasn't that good." I consider myself an animation nerd too (heck, I went to one of the nerdier colleges surrounded by other animation nerds), and I didn't know about, say, Justice League as a cartoon until I was in my 20's, but it's still a pretty brilliant show. Same goes for Static Shock and a handful of other shows that were relevant during my childhood. There's plenty of reasons not to know about a show.
