What version of Hancock were you guys watching? Because the version I watched several times has NO scene like that. At all.

Really, that's weird - I saw it on the DVD that we rented from Blockbuster (back in the day, when you could rent DVD's from Blockbuster). And I facepalmed and yelled, "Editing! That's what editing is for, dammit!" There were a few really really cringeworthy scenes in that movie.

At least, in the version I rented. Now I'm wondering what version you saw? But I'd guess it was improved.
