Eeeek that is troublesome. I'm personally still waiting for more series' that portray girls being in a relationship with a boy / getting married a viable choice where the girl keeps her indepedance and doesn't act like either person is below the other in 'status' in any way.


Like maybe showing both sides having to make little sacrifices but not sacrificing their 'dream' or something they are really passionate about...yanno?


I just want to see more stories where romance is just...two people being awesome and just happening to be in an interpersonal relationship. Not "the girl has to give up everything to 'deserve' the boy" or. "The girl is helpless and needs to be always defended by the guy and 'taken care of by them". I actually don't mind seeing a guy defend a girl AS LONG AS she finds a way to pay him back in kind by defending him or fighting for him.

.....sorry this turned into an OT ramble about relationships and feminism.

Well, it's Clamp, so...yeah. I hated that she had to give up everything just to date him. There was no good reason for it. And then they make her this bland, helpless princess in Chronicles, and her boyfriend has to save her. And EH.

Most guys think being loved is more than enough. And fighting and defending isn't always via swords etc., like retards seem to think because lol swerds are kool.
