Here, it seems to me like wearing leggings as pants is more ~acceptable if you're wearing an oversized or long shirt or sweater with them. Idk, maybe so you don't look like you're part of a fitness video? I have no idea tbqh.

I guess I've been around way too many 'OMFG y u ware leggings as pants?!?!' types when I'm like, who the fuck cares. I have too many pairs of leggings to care, haha.

nayrt Since leggings tend to emphasize your butt, you're 'slutty' if you wear them with anything other than a long shirt that'll cover your bum.

I personally don't feel that comfortable enough to wear leggings with our without a long shirt, so I admire ayrt's confidence about her buns :P

Yeah, they emphasize your butt, your thighs, your whole crotch area etc.

Aside from one pair I can't really wear them outside(too self conscious for that) but I vastly prefer wearing them to regular trousers.

I used to do that. Very comfy. I still do it at home.

But since I hit 40 and my butt started going downhill, I won't go out in public with leggings without the long shirt.
