Me too, anon. It's just so on the fucking nose, and I have to mute that big speech near the end because hey guess what world, you're sharing OUR independence day! It doesn't matter if you have those sorts of days of your own, OURS IS NOW UNIVERSAL!

... Except that doesn't make a lick of sense, because since the aliens were trying to wipe us out, we were fighting for our LIVES, not independence. If anything, it'd be a war memorial day like we have for WWII.
