Is there a non-annoying way to get your Facebook friends to start playing a game? Because I really need another person to help me forward in Pet Rescue Saga, but I really don't want to just bombard everyone with requests straight from the game. (Though that is how my friend actually got me into this game, I just got so tired of getting requests from her that I actually checked the game out....)

Ask the people who you think might be interested politely, once?

Make some fake secondary accounts, so you're just requesting to yourself?

I did this with my brother when I used to play them years ago. It's really simple to do and makes things easier because you can funnel all your goods to one account.

Of course, you could also friend strangers on the game's main page, though I wouldn't do that personally.

Make a one time post on your wall asking if anyone's interested? I'd find that way less annoying than getting notices for invites all the time.

Love that game. I play way too many facebook games. 3/4 of my friends are just friends for game purposes such that I had to create a separate list for them.

There are Add Me threads in the official forum and also in places like Gamers Unite. You can add people from there or post to have people add you. Just make sure you put them on a list that is limited to seeing posts from the games you play together.

Don't. My BFF could ask this in the most polite way and it will piss me off.

Here's what you do. go to the facebook page or forums or whatever for the game, ask if ANYONE ELSE who PLAYS THAT GAME could help you advance.

That is at least half the reason why I don't play cooperative FB games. They are annoying by nature.
