All the news about X and Y is making me wish I could get a hold of my old Generation 1 Pokemon figures. I'm not sure whether, before a major move, I let them be given away, or worse, they were left in a near inaccessible place with a lot of other old stuff and probably have been damaged by storage conditions. And what bothers me more is that among what childhood collections I can locate is an entire boxful of dolls, many of which I have little sentiment for.
Too long; didn't read: Goddammit past self, you're still going to be kind of embarrassed about liking Pokemon, but you didn't have to let those figures (and guide book) slip away! And don't try too hard to seem feminine, not gonna work out.
