I'll repost my one from yesterday since it didn't get guessed, and it's a series:

Dragon, wolf with hammer, and gambler try to save world.

I don't know that I have a favorite single book, but there are many I like. I'll list a few...(fiction, but otherwise all over the place; some is children's fiction read when younger)

1. Girl loses almost everyone important, writes a lot, also colors.

2. Man sacrifices self to make love of life happy; guillotines.

3. Boys go "camping" and seek treasure; old debts are paid.

4. Sisters support each other through trials of hate and love.

5. Is it imagination, or real? Children explore colorful magic land.

6. Powerful religious institution infected by crazy; sidekick is true villain.

7. Women rule world because of bear; treachery has been afoot.

8. Young medieval lord questions nationality; become warrior; finds new family.

Correct on 2 and 4.

I don't think anyone will guess 7. It's a random book I picked up at the library because it looked interesting, not well-known or anything.

I'm kind of surprised no one got the one from yesterday; it seems pretty obvious. (It's Wheel of Time)

2 is Tale of Two Cities, 4 could be a million things, 5 might be Narnia but that seems too easy, and I'm going to guess Shardik for 7 but I'm pretty sure that's wrong.

Yay! I was a bit surprised that nobody got 1 last time. I know several people on f!s are fans.
