Back when I was in the fandom, hetalia. Remember that phoenix wright crossover? The heartbreaking post-apocalyptic fic starring sealand? And someone wrote a really fucking long fic about my otp with a focus on my favorite kink and i wasn't even the requester.

Fuck yes no I don't remember that Phoenix Wright one :( Do you have a link on hand?

But hell yeah that Sealand one was good. The kink meme was/is awesome, and it was pretty ridiculously easy to get any prompt filled from what I remember. I remember I did a few art and fic fills back in the first and second posts since it was easier to keep up then. Much fun :) Still have a few un-posted but dropped wips though...

For all that I like to pretend that I hate the fandom after leaving it, the fic to pore over and enjoy was numerous. Fanwork output may be varied and obviously prone to Sturgeon's Law, but holy crap is there a ton of gems. I still read and cry over the Pandemic II one.
