hmm I hadn't considered mania, but that might be it, actually. I'm a moody person (I tend to go through periods of depression a couple times a year), so it's possible this is just an upswing. I have been GIDDILY energetic recently at certain points of the day, too. HMMMM thank you for bringing this up, the writing might be a symptom and not the problem at all!

Seconding the "I'm bipolar and this sounds like that" thing. When I'm really into a fandom and have a manic swing it's fic over here, gifs over there, and a dashboard full of feels.

I hope if it does turn out that you have some sort of mental health problem, you're able to get help but still keep some of your enthusiasm for the right time to use it. :)
