Not even. They've only got their legacy going for them, but that doesn't mean they were shippable in this movie as a standalone. Well, some people might like it but others might have found it dull and without much potential to be a fun ship.

It made no sense. There was barely any interaction and no development shown. Lois had better chemistry with Jor-El the ship ghost.

Are you saying that the canon pairing of Lois and Clark is not better supported by this movie than in the last (I stopped going to Superman movies after the first two Christopher Reeve ones, so I have not seen the last two) where I gather that Lois ends up with someone else?

I think that most people never liked the Lois/Clark pairing in the comic books, but personally I admit to a fondness for the pairing in the Lois and Clark TV show where their dynamic was actually quite fun and certainly not as offensive as in the comics or the movies.

For some reason whereas I think that it's possible to care for the Lois/Clark pairing, I have always been revulsed by the idea of Lois having a blind crush on Superman while being ignorant of his secret identity and simultaneously not appreciating Clark.
