Re: Mac Users

How easy it is to adjust to a Mac seems to vary by how in depth you worked with Windows. If all you did was use it the way it came and added a few programs or changed the color scheme, it will be very easy to get used to OS X and in a couple days it will feel as natural as using Windows did. The more advanced you were with Windows, the harder it is to adjust. I was thrown into IT at my job because they needed someone and I understood Windows better than my co-workers. I spent a couple years doing that and got pretty advanced, so I was confident I wouldn't have any trouble when I switched to a Mac the year after I quit that job. I was very wrong. Everything is done so differently both in the steps you take and how the OS processes it. I had a hard time with it but it was totally worth it because Windows had reached a point where the OS updates made it more and more of a memory hog and I would have to buy a new PC every year just to be able to increase my RAM enough to still be able to use Photoshop (I'm a graphic designer).
