I never really got into fandom before having already been involved in FMA - but I agree. I rejected the idea of that series for... a year or two, just because so many people put so much annoying support behind it (without having even seen it first.) and the hype was.... a lot for me.

Now - incase you can't tell - I love it.

Um. Actually yes, somewhat. Having exchanged a couple of lines should hardly be considered knowing but, oh well. There are never Tenipuri secrets in general.

22. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way now, personally. It might have to do with Vic and his rabid idiotfans. It might just be the content now. I can't watch it without feeling weird. I think everybody ruined it for me. Now the characters feel stupid and too unrealistic for something so "intelligent". I know I didn't feel that way the first time I watched it.

25. I would go straight for that man. I hate hearing people say that, but I really would. XD Just for one night maybe and then I would leave his ass just to laugh at him but I think that deep down, that's the sort of relationship he longs for. Love/hate yesyesyes. But seriously, he's probably deeper than that. XD He was talking about his girlfriend troubles once on his LJ, if I recall.

You know, I said 15-ish, but I might have been older when I read it, too. (God-- I'm 20, I should remember stuff like this.) I do know that it was my favorite book for over a year, though. XD I loved the way it was written, and the characters were lovely.

4. Girl who likes Gundam het (from assorted Gundams, some UC and some AU.) I'm more for Amuro/Sayla, but Char/Sayla is interesting.
24. That was the best Clamp series. I like Clamp, but unfortunately I don't like some of the more popular things by them.

Oh, the j-rock fandom. As much as I totally adore those bands, I completely left the fandom. I miss the RP and some of the people I used to talk to, but I couldn't stand all the stupid wank and dumb as shit fics. (I swear, if I saw one more stupid thing of somebody being a prostitute or whatever, I was going to go insane.)

I feel for you because I felt the exact same way.
