I'll tell you the truth. If Matt Smith hadn't been so cute I'd have quit the series until Moffat was replaced. I'm not slogging through that crap without some eye candy.

Personally, I might cry if they don't at least consider David McCallum at some point and he's almost 80. Rawr.

OMG that would be awesome! How have I never thought of this? Thank you for that little bit of headcanon, possibly of the "11 becomes very old and takes a break from saving the world by becoming a medical doctor at NCIS" variety.

He seems like he'd have some problems doing the "running for your life" bits of the show though, so alas he will probably never be considered for the Doctor. (Or maybe he's just acting really well on NCIS? One can always hope. :~D)

(I am not going to start ranting about Moffat. *sigh*)
