Hey, so long as you understand why it's a problem, you're not doing anything wrong here. So long as you see what's gross about the way that portrayal is handled, you enjoying the concept for different reasons is fine.

I honestly feel like this shit gives a bunch of men unrealistic expectations in relationships, too, though, on top of other problems it has that have already been discussed in this thread. Men expect to be able to be fat and unattractive but still bag super model hot wives, and feel less inclined to give plainer, maybe even, gasp! chubby girls a chance. But yeah I like bigger guys, too. My boyfriend isn't tiny. But it's not even just weight that's the deal with sitcom husbands. They usually have pretty blah faces and everything else, too, which is weird as fuck to me. I'm okay with bigger guys, but I need something I find attractive. And with these sitcom husbands it sure as fuck isn't their personalities, either.
