Theoretical!Eleven/Amy is theoretically one of my top five Doctor/companion friendships in the entire show. Theoretically. Seriously, the amount of potential in that dynamic and in Amy's character foundation is staggering. Just look at that one scene in the Power of Three and theorize what that would be like spread out and developed over two and a half seasons. It's beautiful.

I look at Ron and Leslie and it makes me realize just how much better the Doctor/Amy friendship could've been handled. Aside from the Power of Three, the only time they had a serious thought-sharing conversation since Season 5 was in the fricken bonus clips that were only included in the DVDs.
