It's one thing to prefer Sherlock. It's another thing to go all rage worthy that they cast an Asian-American actress as Watson and refuse to even watch a single episode because you've convinced yourself it's going to suck. And then go on to tell everyone within ear shot how much Elementary sucks just because. There's a difference. The first one is okay. The second one? Not so much.

Yeah, where did they say they went all 'rage worthy' etc? I'm a fan of BBC Sherlock (and the books, and numerous films). Just because I like BBC Sherlock doesn't mean I hate Elementary. At some point, I'll watch it and judge it on its own merits. I'm hoping it'll be good.

(I haven't watched it so far because watching online is a pain on my pc and I haven't got hold of any DVDs yet.)

...I didn't think i was being rage worthy? I tried watching Elementary and couldn't really stand J. Miller's Sherlock. I am going to try and watch it again when it gets on Netflix, but I am not going to force myself to watching something. :(

Agreed. The whole "THIS IS NOT WHAT WATSON LOOKS LIKE. PLZ STOP." stuff combines racism with a can't-comprehend-that-some-people-like-things-you-don't-like mentality. Not really ok. :/
