OBERNEWTYN. Classic Australian fantasy series. 26 years. Six books. Still going. I LAUGH at Game of Thrones fans (nine years between two books).

I'm a "newbie" of sorts, having started 20 years ago as a young teenager.. I still love the series, and my father just started reading them after hearing me talk about them for so long, and he seems to enjoy them, too. High fantasy, post apocalypse, and a heroine who could kill you with her brain long before River Tam came on the scene.
