Yeah, this mostly flew over my head because I don't watch the show, but it sounds kinda neat, might actually check out those episodes. I wouldn't have expected the anime to tackle something that much better than the games.

It's really good and short too! The Episode N arc is only 14 episodes long (I don't count the first episode of it because N only has a cameo appearance at the very end and the majority of the episode is filler spent helping a random, new trainer start her journey).

My favourite episode of the arc has just been dubbed recently (they're still at the start of it), it's the one where N's sisters are properly introduced and they delve into his backstory. I recommend watching this arc. ^^

Also, Colress/Achroma is incredibly entertaining in the anime, while being a legitimate threat.
