I know! I'm going to miss this show. And I'm not a big fan of Don/Megan either. She's a nice girl but pretty bland.

Don't watch the show, but we've had so many of these 'I lose interest in my OTP's as soon as they become canon' secrets that I'm starting to feel like an oddball. Granted, not many of my OTP's ever actually become canon, so maybe I just don't have enough experience with media ruining it for me.

I lose interest in my One True Pairings as soon as they become canon. I still love Megan and all, but I could care less about their relationship.

"Could care less" is a legitimate variation. I always viewed it as kind of sarcastic myself. Like, I could care less, if I wanted to, but I don't.

Yes, I always notice that error too, but I think some people have heard the wrong version so many times and they just don't think about what it means. But it does make me laugh. "I could care less" makes it sound like you're somehow counting down to apathy but not there yet.

I didn't think Don would have gone for Megan and since they've been together I've found their relationship interesting enough. I don't really get the hate Megan gets, but whatever. I do think she deserves better than Don. I hope she leaves him and does well in LA.

I don't watch Mad Men, but I've had ships becomes canon before and I have lost interest sometimes. It depends how it plays out. But when your ship isn't canon you can imagine them playing out any way you like. When they becomes canon though, their history is kind of set in stone (insofar as canon is rock solid, ymmv) and the way you envisaged it may be contrary to that.
