Pete is scummy, but he's also one of my favorite characters on the show. I love his petulant ass.

He's a weasel, but I love him anyway XD I wanted to punch him when he went to Joan with that disgusting guy's proposal, though. But I don't know, there's something about him... I can get angry with him for too long.

I hate Pete Campbell, he's really really gross, but his character is one of the most entertaining ones I've seen in a while. Mad Men wouldn't be the same without him.

I wouldn't want him to be perfect either.

This seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I fucking love Pete Campbell. He's not perfect, but I wouldn't want him to be.

The thing about Pete Campbell is that he (like almost everyone on the show) has done some really shitty things, but also has some moments of real genuine humanity, and can be really sympathetic at times. Plus, he's on the right side of so many issues (race in particular, he's probably the most progressive, which isn't saying much on that show), so he gets some points there, too.

I'll admit, I kind of loathed him back in S1, and I still hate the idea of him and Peggy. But his life has gotten so terrible lately, I have started to feel bad for him again.

Yes, exactly - i love that he's the most progressive of all of them when it comes to race. I also love how furious, horrified and indignant he was when MLK was killed and someone was making a joke about it.

He was the character I enjoyed the most on that show before I quit watching it. So many of the others are so flat and boring.

Oh, Pete. He's such a jackass but yes, I love him, too. I loved it when he and Trudy were together and *happy* - they were so damn cute!

I love Pete as well! He's done a lot of despicable thing, but I think almost every character on the show has done something awful. There's a lot to Pete though makes me like him a lot. Vincent Kartheiser is such a good actor as well.
