(Anonymous) 2013-06-29 03:48 am (UTC)(link)I would totally get that if this whole acting thing were new to him, but he was in his 50s and had been an actor for nearly three decades when he took that role. It seems a bit weird to not realize that doing a crime drama would be problematic.

it's just one serial murderer after another
some of them are sympathetic
but some get away and keep doing evil
and it's based on real events, so..
I can see why that would wear down on a person, bit by bit, recording session by recording session
