I dunno, maybe in gif form it has this effect because it's cut strategically but hello? in the real scene Spock was choking him to death I have a hard time finding it sexy when I watch that scene and I consider myself a kinky person in general

Well, I can certainly see where you're coming from and if this wasn't fiction then I would agree 100%, but... The last part of that scene still does it for me. There's some anger and concern for Kirk but it's mixed in with other fucked up things. (Talking about my own reaction to it.)

... Yea, idk, I'm weird apparently.

But yea, not sure I would call the whole scene sexy, but the end when he's gasping and you know he's safe? For me it is.
