That changes nothing. Most women in the comic industry (excluding Gail Simone) are too terrified of losing their jobs to go against the male centric attitudes.

So if a man does it is evil because evulz oppreshun, if a woman does it she is just a weak and feeble woman.

Talk about having your cake and eating it too.

You don't know anything about women working in comics, do you?

Right. Gail Simone never caved on an important issue of representation to keep her job. Nope. Never happened.

Oh.

Wait.

Oh wait what?

She really never has.

What about that time she wanted to bring Cassandra Cain into Birds of Prey and make her a Christian to better represent religion, but DC wouldn't let her?

That sounds like a good editorial decisions. The Rad-Evangelicals have enough traction in society already. If anything we should be stripping Christian characters from comic books and other sources of fiction. No more Christian representation until Texas starts acting like decent people.

"Christian" does not equal "rad evangelicals."

That was a lousy idea and they were right to nix it.

A good editor doesn't give their writer free reign, you know. Some of the best work in all literature was accomplished when a writer was told "no." that's not misogyny, that's the business. Not saying it doesn't exist, but you are reaching if you think this is an example of that or of Gail "caving in".

Uh... her current Batgirl series?
