love or hate the originals but joseph morgan could act circles around pretty much everyone on tvd. and he isn't even that good. the others are just that bad. especially ian somerhalder and paul wesley.
agreed on the werebaby and klaroline though :/

Huh, I thought JoMo was extremely disappointing, coming on the heels of Klaus!Alaric. Joseph didn't impress me until the episodes with Klaus eating dinner with the Salvatores and torturing Damon, but since then he's been passable or miss, mostly miss. Admittedly, I don't see him as very talented because I find Klaus so flat and unappealing.

I think Paul's one of the strongest actors on the show, he's got a very subtle way of playing Stefan that I appreciate even when I find him boring or obnoxious, but Ian de-evolved into O_O LOOK AT ME I AM BEING DRAMATIC after S1.

I hope this show fails miserably. The werebaby idea is ridiculous. And JoMo just isn't that talented of an actor.

Bonus secret: I hate that even this spinoff can't kill the abomination of entitlement and abuse that is Klaus/Caroline.

I've been very iffy about the spin-off for awhile but I am cautiously optimistic about it now. I agree that the werebaby thing is really dumb though, it's a storyline that I've never seen done well.

Can't agree with you about Klaus/Caroline though, sorry.

I don't have much faith tbh.

Witches are finally getting their mythology, only they're white and fighting against their black oppressor. And Bonnie gets zilch aside from being dead after being used and manipulated all series.

Hayley is going to get shit on tremendously because 1) she's a female character being written by Julie Plec, 2) she's pregnant by Klaus and nothing about this pregnancy will be about her or how she feels (see 1), and 3) the rabid Klaroline shippers want her fucking head and JP had zero issues pandering to them.

Also Rebekah bores me.

Elijah is the only tolerable one out of them.
