Well, people change, people's interests change, it's natural. I don't know. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, necessarily. And also I think you can still identify as a fan of a team even if you're not necessarily following them every day and being super-diehard about it. There's other ways of expressing fandom, even real, legitimate, authentic sports fandom.

Also, I feel like I can't blame anyone for being a little put off by Scottish football, which (although I am an outsider looking in) kind of seems like a disorganized, utterly doomed mess.
