That sucks, OP. But please, keep in mind that modding is really hard work, even when you've done it before. Unless you've done it, it's hard to comprehend just how dickish and unreasonable people can be and how much wank a mod has to deal with behind the scenes. You yourself may have been awesome, but in every fandom event like this, there are many, many others who aren't.

Also, "sweet and friendly" are two traits that can get in the way of being an effective mod. People will take advantage of you, even if they like you and don't mean to do any harm. If a mod is too much of a pushover, it generally means a poorly run event. Maybe cut her some slack?
