It's not surprising that you'd find it interesting since it includes the most interesting characters / performers in the entire cast. It definitely would have been cool to see more interaction.

Yeah, they were sweet. One of my favorite moments of the later seasons was Elliot asking him why he hadn't RSVP'd to her wedding; just the sincerity on her part, and how surprised he was that he had been invited.

I shipped it, mostly because
1. I AM Elliot
2. I have a crush on Janitor

In my rewatch of this show, I'm kind of sad nothing ever came of this. It's a really weird ship, but it's still kind of cute. Hell, not even a "secret Best Friends Forever" thing, really?? They went with Cox and the Janitor, but not Elliot???

Yes! They would've been adorable together. Of course, in my mind, nearly any couple would've been better than J.D./Elliot, heh.

This is weird, because while I agree that I totally hated Elliot/JD in seasons 1-7, I LOVED them in season 8, and their awesomeness in season 8 was the direct result of the fact that they were a completely fucking awful pairing in seasons 1-7 and had grown up and resolved to be different this time, and actually succeeded at it (how often does that ever happen in any TV show?)

Buuuuuut I'm going off on an unrelated tangent here...

I agree.
They would have been such a fun, quirky couple (of friends). I really wouldn't have minded them being buddies and occasionally dating. Elliot was way too good for JD anyways.

I never shipped them but I loved that episode where the Janitor tells Elliot he likes her because she's the only one who treats him like a person. Even though he always just calls her "Blonde Doctor" :D

On a couple of occasions he called her Elliot! But always in a way that made you go "Aw shit son, he's serious this time"
