I try not to make my secrets tl:dr and too small to read, and I don't care to air these details in public, but you could have asked what kind of hard-ass Dr. Ethel is instead of just assuming. There's one for every pant size after all.

Other people assumed they knew what kind of hard-ass the secret was about and didn't stop to ask. People have been assuming there's anger in words that are fairly bland on their own, though open to the reader's mood projections. You're assuming a lot about my behavior in public and hers, and an incident you know nothing about. Lot of assumptions to go around and a drastic shortage of ETHEL.

She's not the type to 'react badly' to a little pissant no matter how badly you assume I might behave. Her very first words to me were to chew me out at length for 'not making and keeping appointments', when her office had assured me repeatedly they would phone us instead. When the day came they flat out forgot me on the list (I confirmed it with the secretary later, human oversight). I drove like hell when I realized everybody else had gotten a same day phone call. I'm pretty sure I wasn't projecting anything but anxiety and breathlessness by the time I got there, and she was just a person in charge of certain matters at that point, not my lecturer, so she'd never seen me before. Turns out I'm not the only one she's screwed over from not knowing how her office is actually running things.

Maybe cause your so goddamn hostile. You are hostile over text. In real live you probably project "huge bitch" in a big shining aura over your head. And perceptive teachers like her can see it... and don't waste their time.

the fact that you have come across as incredibly hostile and angry about minor things over text, and seem unable not only to realize it but unable event to consider whether the fact that literally everyone is reading you as hostile and angry might mean something, says to me that you might not be the kind of person who is always totally self-aware of the way that they come across

that doesnt mean that your teacher might not also be terrible, i'm just sayin'
