Well, he played Mr Thornton who IMO is a more tolerable, less douchey version of Darcy, so I totally agree!

Well he's an actor so can hopefully put on an accent. I don't know, I haven't seen him in much. He would look right for Mr Darcy I think.

Pride and Prejudice fails to get any interest from me (there are other Jane Austen stories I like better), so I couldn't care less if he'd make a good Mr Darcy or not. I just think he's damn gorgeous, and has a damn gorgeous nose (really, I'm developing a thing about that nose - it's long and straight and narrow and pointy!).
