Obsessively refresh or comment, walk away, and come back later? Or just comment and walk away never checking for replies?

More the former than the latter. But at a certain point you have to just check out and do something else.

Mix it up. Depends on the day and the secrets. Sometimes I obsessively refresh, other times I just walk away and check in later when bored.

Depends. If it's something I know will probably get me attacked I walk away and don't bother checking. Otherwise, I. walk away and check later

Depending on the secrets and what's going on in general comments sometimes I'll refresh often to see what other people have to say, and sometimes I'll do it periodically.

If there are threads I'm interested in, I'll refresh until new comments seem to be slowing to a crawl, then I'll do other things and come back in an hour or so. Lather, rinse repeat.

Comment, go to bed, check my email when I get up in the morning. If anyone's replied to me I come back to the page and reply and look at the general thread and stuff again.

It depends what I've posted, I guess? Usually I post comments and see if I've gotten any comments while I've been posting. Then I browse the net and if comments have come, I reply/read. After that, I usually go to bed and then check comments either later in the day or when I return to f!s.

Depends. If I comment during the post's 'rush hour', I'm more likely to refresh if I know there's lots of activity at the moment. Usually I come 3+ hours late, so I comment, go away and forget.

Subscribe to my email. Otherwise I will just totally forget and I do not have the patience for that f5 shit lol.

ETA: Today I actually did come back a couple hours after initially going through (and maybe making one or two comments) because I actually caught secrets within a few minutes of them going up, so there was nothing there. I don't like being so late that there's no conversation left, but I also don't like being so early that it hasn't even started!

If I'm going through the entire post (as I prefer to do): first I go through everything and comment where I want, and then I go to my email and reply to responses, and then when I'm done with that I go do other stuff and check again in the morning. I'm very systematic.

I usually obsessively refresh but sometimes I will forget that I left a comment or was watching a thread and then I miss stuff.
