Teen Wolf
(Anonymous) 2013-07-04 01:37 am (UTC)(link)So I just recently started watching this show. I find it a choppy, plot-hole ridden mess with a compelling universe and an entertaining cast of characters. Perfect for Monday evenings after work.
Anyway, I've been wondering if anyone else thinks that new teacher/Derek love interest might be the evil druid sacrificing people? I'm probably way over thinking things because...Teen Wolf...but it seems to fit.
She just started working at the school (I think?), another teacher was helping the evil druid, all/almost all of the victims were students, and she's cozied up to Derek really quickly. I mean, if you're an evil druid sacrificing high school students (because the universe revolves around high school) being a teacher is good cover to get info and opportunistically getting the town alpha werewolf to love and protect you from the alpha pack you're (maybe) planning to attack while you amass power is a good plan.
Anyone else agree? Disagree?

(Anonymous) 2013-07-04 01:57 am (UTC)(link)Mostly I'm just enjoying watching the fandom implode because OMG NO STEREK and I find it hilarious. I watch the show because I like it and I only ship in fanon so it's highly entertaining watching people ragequit. I had a fandom friend that I thought liked the show too because that what she really seemed to be like but lol nope. I can't remember the last time I lost respect for someone so quickly but I still think it's fucking hilarious.

(Anonymous) 2013-07-04 02:01 am (UTC)(link)I actually thought it might be Gerard lurking around being evil. Maybe sacrificing is another wacky scheme to get his immortality or whatever it is he wants, since now he may be a werewolf but he's also still diseased (assuming).
But you make a compelling argument. I just...don't really understand what they're doing. Like, why the alphas and the druid thing? I just don't really get the point, other than overwhelming action all the time.
Re: Teen Wolf
(Anonymous) 2013-07-04 02:54 am (UTC)(link)Trying to find the werewolf who bit Scott and something with Derek and the Argents in season one; Derek making werewolves, the kanima, and Peter using Lydia to resurrect himself in season two; and so far the alphas and the druid for season three.
I actually think it's a good thing - multiple plots means different characters get utilized instead of being abandoned or made side-kicky. Right now Scott and the werewolves are taking care of the alphas issue, while Stiles and the humans are shining in the druid plot. I think the werewolf effects and action scenes are among the best done aspects of the show so the producers and director are doing/emphasizing what they're good at - though I agree I'd like them to slow down a bit.
