I know! The plotline is leaving me torn with those two thoughts as well since my own mother recently found out she has vulva cancer and is preparing for surgery and biopsy to find out if its rooted or not.

So on one hand I can't stand the idea of Myka dying from cancer but on the other I don't want them to use an artifact to 'cure' her but I wouldn't mind if, after going through treatment, she can be told the cancer is in remission.

Kill or save I just don't like the plot because it feels very shoehorned in and all the scenes around it are tonally weird. Like I've seen sci fi shows tackle realism before and for whatever reason it's not fitting.

I was really shocked that Myka got cancer. The plotline seems so out of place with the hijinks of the Warehouse. Getting cancer is such a rl thing, and when I watch Warehouse, it's nice to not think of rl.

Maybe it's just cuz I love Myka so much and don't want anything to happen to her.

They caught it by accident in a friend's mom, in her fifties, just in time. If they kill her, I will rage quit this show. But if they save her, for women in her age group, it won't be very realistic.

Secret because: It's a show about magic trinkets. We're not real big on realist around here...

I don't understand the first part of this secret. Do you mean that it's realistic for your friend's mom to survive but not for Myka because of her age group?

Because they usually don't catch it in time for women her age BECAUSE of Myka's age group.

What does trigger quit the show mean? And out of curiosity why did you quit?

Without going into any details; I have unresolved issues with a loved one's cancer death and I have a hard time watching anything depicting it.

Ah okay, I'm sorry about your loss and I didn't mean to delve into your business; I was just confused because I wasn't familiar with the phrase "trigger quit." I wish you all the best.

Because I just made it up? They used "Rage Quit" and I quit because of triggers so I used "Trigger Quit". Sorry for the confusion.
