I've lived in Kansas and lol... you really don't. People here are pretty blase about tornadoes because they're so common.

(That being said it's actually not safer to hide under an overpass during tornadoes, so that did bug me.)

Cause it don't do a damn thing to protect you, and may actually make it more dangerous, but on the plus side it'll give you something to do while waiting for your death.

It can actually create a wind tunnel effect among other things, making it very likely even more dangerous than hiding out in the open.

Well, fair enough. I can say if I saw a sky looking like that I wouldn't be out doing shit, but I haven't actually lived in Kansas.

Every other problem I had with his character still remains valid though, I feel.
