So, you were going to see a spin-off, watched the original, and now aren't sure you want to see the spin-off? O-kay? Don't quite see why you'd feel the need to keep this a secret.

I was super-excited when I first heard about Primeval: New World (dinosaurs! time-travel portals! Niall Matter! Sara Canning!) Then I figured while I was waiting for it to come out, I'd better watch Primeval, so I'd have a better grasp of the world I was going into. And I fell in love with it. Now it feels too weird to watch another team than this one (along with Emily and Lester) dealing with anomalies and creatures. I don't know if I can watch Primeval: New World now.

Primeval: New World wasn't too awful, I suppose..? It wasn't great, though -- I failed to click with the characters. It might be worth having a go, but nothing of value will be lost if you don't bother. It's not like you get much in the way of closure anyway, since it was axed after one season.

I was vaguely aware of a Primeval spinoff. The original is so embarrassingly awful for me, but despite that, this sounds even less appealing if they're not at least keeping spunky blonde girl and round face guy with the hair. They were my OTP >:U

I really liked both shows a lot and wish we got at least one more season of the spin-off. So ... watch them both and judge for yourself. It's okay to not like PNW (it's not even long so not like it's a huge time investment), but hey, there's a chance you'll like it.
