Oh man, I hope it isn't that bad. Have you already been to a dentist? I imagine you haven't since you aren't sure, but anyway, good luck when you go! Might want to try getting an appointment soon if you're in a lot of pain. You wouldn't want it getting worse.

Anyway, my gums have receded too (not enough for surgery, though) and it sucks, but there's no helping it now. :( (Apparently I brushed too hard...)
