No, it's because no-one is allowed not to like a kink and certainly not to find it squicky/unpleasant/problematic/tasteless without cries of "kinkshamer, HDU judge us, mcjudgey" from all the whiny kinsters.

Y'know, I've decided I don't care. Omegavese is creepy, squicky and weird.

DA

that's fine to me if they would just say that instead of 'EWWWWW.... but im not judging!'

It is creepy, squicky, and weird. For a lot of us (I'm an ABO fan), these are all good things. XD

Do you think maybe... possibly if you go into a conversation about something you are not fond of (kink, trope, whatever) and you carry in a judgemental, rude, dismissive attitude, maybe THAT'S where the problem lies? With YOU and YOUR attitude toward people that don't agree with you?

Being confrontational about it and being dismissive is going to put the people who like something on edge and make them defensive. But hey, they're just whiny right? You didn't do anything wrong. *side eye*

But why do you have this desire and precious feeling to come over to those who do like it and go "I find your kink creepy, squicky and weird"?

Big whoop, I find plenty of kinks weird but I'm not going to list them because it doesn't matter, I'm not into them, I don't need to talk about them, who cares aside from me?

You do care, because someone is liking something you don't like...and oddly enough people aren't cool with you being a douche

Perhaps that is why it's a secret.
