Yeah, back when stupid and dumb were newfangled words for people with disabilities. Now they've long-since entered the lexicon for broad-spectrum terms.

Look, I can get with the "ableist!" activists when they say we shouldn't call people retards, because we shouldn't. But when it comes to stupid, dumb, lame and crazy -- when not used as synonyms for for actual disability or illness -- I just can't seem to give even a little crap.

I'm...kind of torn as far as crazy goes. I mean, if it's to describe something like 'crazy good/bad/whatever' then whatever. But...I've seen it used as insults for people who do have a mental disorder as often and *that* I'm completely not cool with.
