yeah but it's about racing instead of cooking. that's a pretty big difference.

like, come on. all the similarities are just really generic plot points that tons of movies broadly hit. it's unoriginal but i don't think it's fair to call it a ripoff. it looks bad enough on its own without being called that.

Yeah... seriously. How is racing even anything like cooking?

Animal character + goofy sidekick is pretty formulaic.

Animal is told by family member(s) to stop trying to do human things and just be (insert animal here). Animal is separated from (insert animal here) colony and winds up in a place where they can live their (insert human activity here) dream. They wind up at a struggling (French/Mexican) restaurant that their human friend works at and with their (insert human activity here) talent, save the restaurant and live their dream/change people's minds on what a racer/cook can be.

Sorry, but it's more than just animal+sidekick here.
