I agree to an extent depending on the situation. If someone is complaining about fandom drama I don't have much patience if they decide to keep doing what they're doing that's causing them frustration instead of growing up and learning from their experiences. But when it comes to dealing with a terminal illness or living in an abusive environment? Yeah no, solving those problems are a lot more complicated and I feel like those people have every right to vent any frustrations they may have.

That's why I said 'changeable'. Terminal illness and/or living in an abusive environment? Those aren't really something people can usually do a whole lot about/can change easily.

SA. Oh ok, just wondering. Unfortunately there are some really insensitive, ignorant people in this world who would group people in abusive environments or people diagnosed with a terminal illness as "changeable situations". Since you don't think like that, we're on the same page about this.

Oh, believe me know - actually went from an abusive home environment to being homeless [because, basically, a the family member I lived with's new SO decided they didn't like me living there]. You'd be amazed how many people have said I must have ~done~ something to deserve either one - or how I just need to do 'X' and -poof- everything would be all better. : /
