Oh, man. I was in a restaurant with a TV turned to some entertainment-celebrity-gossip show on in the background when they interrupted whatever dumb are-they-dating-or-not thing they were talking about to announce that Davy Jones had died. I didn't start bawling in the restaurant, but I couldn't finish the meal - and I cried when I got home. It's the hardest a celebrity death has ever hit me, and he's not even my favorite Monkee. (I'm going to be completely useless for a week when Papa Nez or our boy Dolenz here kick the bucket, I know it.)

RIP, Davy.
