I think it depends on how much free time you have, on whether you are only keeping up on one website or more, and how much fanworks, posts, etc. are coming from any given fandom

I can manage 4 or 5 at a time if most of them are from smallish not-very-active fandoms, but only one or maybe two if they are from juggernauts of fan productiveness.
