I've become so attached to Will that I don't want to contemplate a show without him. It makes me legit sad to think of him ending up like he does in the books and no longer on the show. I just don't think I would want to watch after that, no matter how much I loved Clarice in the book and SOTL movie (never saw "Hannibal" the Movie).

Maybe I need to step away from the computer?

yeah I can't deny that I started watching for the concept and fell in love with Will well beyond my love for any of the other characters. If he's not in the show I doubt I'd keep watching.

Yeah, because you know "not in the show" means he's off suffering somewhere in a ditch, not because, like, he founded a home for lost dogs on a remote island and has carved out a little slice of paradise for himself where he can live happily ever after. *SOB*

I'm not gonna lie, I would watch a show about Will living happily on an island with hundreds of lost dogs.

If this version of Will DOES end up leaving, I may just start watching it again on a regular basis!! Especially if they get Clarice.

I agree. I really hope he gets a different ending to his arc than what happens in the books and I can't imagine the tv show without him. But I do LOVE Clarice and (if they do get the rights) can not wait to see what they do with her since they've already played a bit with her story via Miriam and they've done such a wonderful job of staying true to the feel of the canon while not being afraid to mess around in there at the same time. (I kinda really love this show.)
